Craig Kirkham, our Chief Creative Officer at JAXX, created this title sequence for a fictional film called “The Brother’s Edge.” The synopsis: A part-time inventor wishes to leave the city and devote more time to his wife, daughter, and his unusual inventions. So, when his brother passes away, leaving behind a cottage in the mountains, the opportunity allows his family to move to a peaceful and secluded home that seemingly gives the inventor everything he wants. However, when the family’s only contact with the outside world is a weekly trip to a local town for supplies, the isolation and solitude lead to things taking a turn for the worse.
In the spec piece, Craig and the team have crafted an opening that gives the audience a sense of the tone of the film and hints at the tense and layered story to follow. With small clues throughout the prologue, the opening sets the scene and piques the viewer’s interest for what’s to follow in “The Brothers Edge.”
